I was born in Brazil and moved to the U.S. in 1992. Since I was a kid, I’ve always had a soft spot for animals-rescuing injured birds, helping stray dogs, you name it. I’ve always felt a deep connection with them, like they’ve been part of my purpose here. Over the years, I’ve rescued hundreds, and my heart’s dream is to create a healing sanctuary in Sedona, a peaceful, loving space where animals can rest, recover, and feel safe.

I’ve been plant-based for over 12 years, not just for my health, but because I love animals too much to cause them harm. This lifestyle is part of my mission to protect and heal those who can’t speak for themselves. I believe every life matters, and I want to help as many as I can.

Right now, my home is full of love and chaos-seven amazing rescue souls, all with their own stories and quirks. They're my family. Total misfits, just like me-and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I’m certified in animal Reiki and I practice animal communication, which has allowed me to connect with animals on a much deeper level. I believe they have wisdom we often overlook, and I do my best to honor that through energy healing and just listening to what they need.

I truly believe that even small acts-rescuing, fostering, donating, or simply being kind, can change the world. We might not save them all, but the ones we do save feel it deeply. Every single life we touch matters. And together, we can create a world where animals are loved, seen, and safe. Thais
